Andrea Tabili is a graduate of Milan’s CONSERVATORIUM “G VERDI“ and has studied with Alberto Gazale and Marino Nicolini at the ACCADEMIA MUSICALE “LINA AIMARO BERTASI“ and with Ettore Nova and Paride Venturi and has been a member of Mirella Freni’s masterclasses as a recipient of the NICOLAI GHIAUROV SCHOLARSHIP.
He was the winner, in 2014, of the CONCORSO COMUNITA EUROPEA in Spoleto and a finalist in the ARMEL COMPETITION in Szeged in 2013, singing the role of Simon Boccanegra.
As a member of the CONSERVATORIUM “G VERDI” OPERA PROJECT in 2008 and 2009, Andrea Tabili appeared as Schaunard in LA BOHEME and Bruschino Padre in IL SIGNOR BRUSCHINO.
Other operatic appearances during 2008 and 2009 included the role of Don Quichotte in De Falla’s RETABLO DE MAESE PEDRO, as part of his winnings of the CONCORSO PRIMO PALCOSCENICO competition and The Notary and Spinelloccio in GIANNI SCHICCHI, both productions in Cesena, Figaro in THE BARBER OF SEVILLE for the NATIONAL THEATRE OF OPERA & BALLET in Tirana, forty-one performances of The Father in HANSEL & GRETEL for OPERADOMANI in Milan, Como, Brescia and other regional Italian centres and Masetto in DON GIOVANNI for THEATRE CONSORZIALE in Budrio.
2010 and 2011 included the roles of Monterone in RIGOLETTO for POCKETOPERA, The Corporal in LA FILLE DU REGIMENT for CIRCUITO LIRICO LOMBARDO, Marcello in LA BOHEME with the ORCHESTRA DEL TEATRO VERDI DI TERNI and Belcore in L’ELISIR D’AMORE in Casalgrande awarded through the CONCORSO CLAUDIO BARBIERI competition.
In 2012 he was engaged by TEATRO DELLE FONTI in Ripantransone to sing the role of Yamadori in MADAM BUTTERFLY and appeared as Don Annibale Pistacchio in Donizetti’s IL CAMPANELLO for the ORCHESTRA SINFONICA ABRUZZESE in performances in L’Aquila and Basciano.
During 2013 he appeared as Ford in FALSTAFF at the TEATRO COMUNALE in Ferrara, at Pesaro’s TEATRO “G. ROSSINI” and at TEATRO “A. BONCI” in Cesena. He sang Marullo in RIGOLETTO in Ascoli Piceno and Doctor Malatesta in DON PASQUALE and Marcello in LA BOHEME, both productions for TEATRO “L. MERCANTINI” in Ripatransone.
Also during 2013, Andrea Tabili was engaged to cover the role of Scarpia in TOSCA by TEATRO SPERIMENTALE “A BELLI” in Spoleto and subsequently was invited to return to sing both the title role of GIANNI SCHICCHI and Doctor Bilenski in Donatoni’s ALFRED, ALFRED during 2014. He also appeared, during 2014, as Baldassarre in Cilea’s L’ARLESIANA for TEATRO PIM OFF in Milan, and as Belcore in L’ELISIR D’AMORE at the TEATRO MERCANTINI in Ripantransone.
Of his performances of Ford, L’OPERA has written, … sonorous to good effect… a rich tone and a sympathetic performance., while SPOLETONLINE has said of his work, …whether its Hamlet or The Marriage Of Figaro, Andrea Tabili is always master of the scene.
His engagements during 2015 included two further engagements by TEATRO LIRICO SPERIMENTALE “A BELLI” in Spoleto singing Marcello in LA BOHEME and Dandino in LA CENERENTOLA, his debut for CANTIERE INTERNAZIONALE D’ARTE in Montepulciano as the Cardinal in Taglietti’s IDROSCALO PASOLINI and his return to TEATRO MERCANTINI in Ripantransone as Figaro in THE BARBER OF SEVILLE.
In 2016 he appeared as Gasparo in Donizetti’s RITA at the FESTIVAL DELLE COLLINE DEL VOMANO, and as Barbatelle in Bakalov’s PETIT VERDONT in Milan.
Andrea Tabili‘s concert engagements included performances as part of the program of Spoleto’s FESTIVAL DEI DUE MONDI during 2014 and, during 2016, the Faure REQIUEM with the ORCHESTRA DI PADOVA E DEL VENETO.
2017 includes the role of Marcello in LA BOHEME for the TEATRO DAL FOCO in Pergola.
