Tsvetana Omelchuk has been a contracted soloist of the MARINSKY THEATRE in St. Petersburg and of the ASTRAKHAN STATE BALLET & OPERA THEATRE, from 2015 to 2018
Her roles at both houses have included Olga in EUGENE ONEGIN, Polina in THE QUEEN OF SPADES, Laura in IOLANTA, Lubasha and Dunyasha in THE TSAR’S BRIDE, Marina Mnischek in BORIS GODUNOV and Konchakovna in PRINCE IGOR, Angelina in LA CENERENTOLA, Dorothea in CENDRILLON, Flora in LA TRAVIATA, Ramiro in LA FINTA GIARDINIERA, Annio in LA CLEMENZA DI TITO, Orsini in LUCREZIA BORGIA, Siebel in FAUST and Cherubino in THE MARRIAGE OF FIGARO.
She was a member of the ACADEMY OF THE OPERA DE MONTE CARLO in 2019.
Her competition prize winnings include the 2014 BEIJING OPERA VOCAL COMPETITION, the 2015 NEW OPERA WORLD COMPETITION in Moscow, the CLIP competition in Italy and the HONG KONG INTERNATIONAL OPERATIC COMPETITION in 2018.
Omelchuk is a frequent concert artist, working closely with such ensembles as Barocco Concertato in Moscow, specialising particularly in the repertoire of Handel and Vivaldi.
Her future engagements were to include the role of Adalgisa in NORMA for MUSICA VIVA HONG KONG in 2021.
She will appear as Angelina in LA CENERENTOLA at the MARINSKY THEATRE in St Petersburg in the 2021/2022 season.
